Who Is Karol?

The Road From Łódź

A decade and a half on track — from a go-kart at age six to the 2026 USF Juniors championship.

Beginnings

Six Years Old, First Lap

Karol Pasiewicz was born on 13 May 2006 in Łódź, Poland. He had his first taste of karting in September 2012, aged just six, at Gokart Arena in his home city — introduced to the sport by his father, Marcin Pasiewicz. Early coaching came from Wojciech Rzucidło, with some of his first structured training taking place at the Speedworld circuit in Rohrau, Austria.

He made his competitive debut two years later, and by 2015 — racing Micro Max for V-Kart — he was already a double Polish champion. Over the next decade he moved steadily up the categories: Mini Rok, OK-Junior, OK, OK-N and finally the flagship Shifter Rok class, racing for factory teams including Tony Kart, Birel ART, Kosmic and Energy Corse across Poland, Italy and the wider European scene.

His breakthrough international result came in 2017, winning the Rok Cup Italia Mini Rok title as the first-ever foreign-born champion of that series. In October 2024 he went one better, winning the ROK Cup Superfinal — karting's world final, held in Lonato, Italy — in the flagship Shifter Rok category, and successfully defended the title in 2025 to become the first driver in the event's history to win Shifter Rok back-to-back.

In 2026 he made the jump to single-seaters in the United States, joining Olivia Racing for his rookie USF Juniors campaign in the Tatuus JR-23. After a perfect sweep at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park — three poles, three wins — he took the championship lead and clinched the title at the Road America finale with a second place in Race 1, then won Races 2 and 3 from pole to finish on 376 points — 122 clear of runner-up Bex Cranston. The title earns a scholarship that helps toward the move up to USF2000 in 2027.

It also makes Karol the first Pole to win an American single-seater championship, after a decade in European karting and a move to the United States with Olivia Racing.

Beyond the cockpit, Karol works as a driving coach and mechanic, bringing a deep technical understanding of the car to every race weekend.

“This is a big step in my career, and I'm ready to give everything to repay the trust the team has placed in me.”— Karol Pasiewicz, on joining Olivia Racing

The Path

The Road To Indy

A route chosen on purpose: from European karting to the American single-seater ladder that leads to the IndyCar Series.

5 IndyCar SeriesThe top of American open-wheel racing — — The goal

The ladder is run as the USF Pro Championships presented by Continental Tire (formerly Road to Indy). Scholarship amounts are those reported for the 2026 season. A scholarship helps toward the next step but does not pay for it, so the rest of the budget has to come from partners.

The Choice

Why America

After a decade in European karting and two ROK Cup Superfinal titles, Karol chose to take his career to the United States. The American ladder is one of the few clear routes in motorsport: a series of championships, each with a scholarship that helps toward the next step, ending at the IndyCar Series. A scholarship does not pay for that step on its own. It gives a driver the chance to reach it, and the rest of the budget has to be found.

He tested with Olivia Racing at Indianapolis and Carolina Motorsports Park, made his single-seater debut in the YACademy Winter Series, and then won the 2026 USF Juniors championship in his rookie season, earning a $251,516 scholarship toward USF2000.

First Pole To Win In America

First Polish champion in an American single-seater series
USF Juniors 2026 · as reported by Polish media

Karol spent more than a decade in European karting, collecting Polish and Italian titles and two ROK Cup Superfinal wins in Lonato, before moving to the United States to start a single-seater career.

He joined Olivia Racing, a one-car team based in Miami and led by Dana Delgado, after a test programme at Indianapolis and Carolina Motorsports Park and a runner-up finish in the YACademy Winter Series. In his first season of single-seaters he won six races, took seven poles and became champion at Road America.

The title makes Karol the first Pole to win an American single-seater championship. It earned him a $251,516 scholarship toward USF2000, and it gives Polish fans and brands a driver to follow all the way up the ladder.

What Comes Next

2027 · USF2000

Move up

The scholarship earned by the Juniors title is a strong start toward the move up, but it does not cover the season on its own. The rest of the budget has to be found, and the next car to learn is the Tatuus USF-22 with the Elite Mazda 2.0 engine.

Step by step

Climb the ladder

USF2000, then USF Pro 2000, then Indy NXT. Every champion earns a scholarship that helps toward the next rung, but it never covers the full cost, so results on track and the right partners decide how far the career goes.

Stay in the USA

Race where the ladder is

The whole plan stays in the United States, where the teams, the series and the IndyCar paddock are. Partners who join early grow with the career.
